Have you always thought that the computer was unbeatable and it not only had no human factor in it that it became a bore to play?

Well those days are long gone. I wrote not long ago about Chess Titans a new windows Vista Chess game and in my research I have discovered that MANY of the newer titles being released for computer chess have allot more human factors built into them.

I recall when you could choose beginner, intermediate and advanced and I could not even come close to winning a game even at beginner level years ago, but now with the new human factor built into them you can truly have the feeling you’re playing another person. They make mistakes at beginner level and give you that great opportunity to learn from your mistakes. This is a very important thing to have is to be able to learn from your mistakes. Today’s computer games are allowing just for that which makes me feel that now we can produce a new generation of smarter and better chess players than we have seen in quite some time.

This is of course just my opinion but I really feel that the use of the Human Factor in these newer chess games will make players better and if you are a child learning also smarter.

I started learning chess in 5th grade and I wish we had the computers today back then.  There were no computers in schools yet when I was young, not until I reached High School did they start to have 286 IBM PCs.  Chess was as I stated above hard and near impossible to beat the computer.  Had I the chance to learn from a more HUMAN geared software  that will make some mistakes to allow you to learn would have made my chess game far better than it is now.  I have seen my game improve greatly since I have been using these new software’s.

Chess is a great way to not only learn strategy but it enhances your ability to become more intelligent in my opinion. So go out and check out the titles that are out there and see if they offer the human factor in it as Chess Titans and many others do and you to can become a better chess player an amaze your friends when you play with them again. I will bet they will be surprised that you improved your game from a computer and not from a hired chess professional.
