Chess lovers know that Queen is the most powerful piece in the board than others. Queen is placed next to the king and in the rank which is closest to the player. The algebraic notation of Queen is Q and the piece is symbolized as a crown. The movement of the Queen can be in any direction along the length of the rank, file or the diagonal. When the friendly piece is present in the path in which the queen moves, it cannot proceed further. When the enemy piece is present in the path the queen can capture and remove the piece from the board. It’s not wise to move the Queen at the opening stage of the game. There are certain techniques involved in the movement of queen which leads to the victory of the game. The algebraic notations that denote the movement of Queen to get the game are Qh5 and Qh4.

Qh4 indicates that the Black Queen moves to h4 from d8 which is the initial position. Qh4+ is the move which indicates the victory of the Black Queen over the opponent’s rook which is placed at h1. When there is no protection to the rook the queen can easily capture the rook. When the Black Queen moves along the diagonal and reaches the h4, the white pawn which is at e4 is unprotected and liable to be attacked.

Qh5 denotes the movement of White Queen to the square h5. The white Queen moves diagonally from d4 to h5. In the opponents move let us consider that the Black pawn is moved to e5. The White Queen which is at h5 currently can steal the black pawn at e5 by moving in the same rank. Qh5+ is another move that forces the Black king to move to safeguard the pawn at g and the rook at h8. As the white is in e5 it acts as the check for black king and pawn. Qh5+ can also take over the pawn at g6 as the diagonal e8 and h5 is wide open. Black seems to be in the development phase for gaining time to attack the knight of white which is in d4 but really white wins. The player should be careful in moving the king bishop position at c5 which is liable to attack. At times white wins by delivering double threat and takes on the pawn at b7. By moving the c8 bishop earlier the pawn which is at b7 is unprotected and vulnerable to attack. Another way to win Black is to make White Bishop as a threat to the black’s king and forcing it to make a move. The earlier attacks make the pawn to move h6 and try to gain time for knight’s safety. But at last black winds by accepting e6-knight combination. Thus white wins the game by checking on h5. Here the tactics we used so far can be used for the success of both White and Black. Queen should be used carefully to win the game easily and there are many other strategies used by Queen to get the game
